The Quapaw Nation Indian Child Welfare (ICW) is in need for foster parents. The ICW Act was passed in response to laws that historically removed children from their families and tribes, which can lead to severed connections to identity and community. Studies show that children who are connected to their culture and community fare better, and that involvement in traditional Native American cultural activities can improve mental health. For more information, please call (918) 238-3127 or email icw@quapawnation.com
