The College Access Initiative at the University of Arkansas has two great opportunities for high school students this summer: ACT Academy and Jump Start. Both programs are designed to help students prepare for college and get a real feel for campus life.
ACT Academy is for current 9th–11th graders (rising 10th–12th graders). Students will stay in residence halls, work on ACT test-taking skills, and learn about admissions, academics, and life at the University of Arkansas.
• Session 1: June 10–14, 2025
• Session 2: June 22–25, 2025
Jump Start is for rising seniors (graduating December 2025 or May 2026). This program focuses on completing the UofA admissions process, starting the scholarship search, and connecting with different departments on campus.
• Session: July 16–19, 2025
Both programs are open for applications until April 1, 2025.
